Virtus.pro temporarily stops performing on the professional CS: GO scene.
The organization announced that it will soon announce further plans.
“After the major, our organization had optimistic plans for our staff. However, the expectations were not fulfilled,” said Roman Dvoryankin, general manager of Virtus.pro. "We need to create a more talented team of young players to conquer new heights. I ask all the fans to wait a bit."
Recall that the first team of Virtus.pro was signed in early 2014. For the past four years, the team has been the champions of tournaments such as EMS Katowice 2014, ESL ESEA Dubai Invitational, ELEAGUE Season 1, DreamHack Masters Las Vegas. In 2018, the team participated in the grand finals of international tournaments: V4 Future Sports Festival and the CS: GO Asia Championships 2018.
At the moment, the composition could not qualify for the European Major IEM Katowice Major, without winning a single match. Due to the recent bad performances of the team, she was on the 29th place in the ranking of the team HLTV.org.
