New details ELEAGUE Season 2

The organizers of the league with the biggest prize money in the history of CS: GO reported new details of the upcoming ELEAGUE Season 2. They did it on the official website of the league ELEAGUE.

The main stage of the league will begin on 7 September.

Starts ELEAGUE Season 2 European Open qualifications, which will be held from 3 to 5 September. After the European qualifications will be US Open qualification from 10 to 12 September. As a result of these qualifications to define the list of participants who will participate in the preliminary stage of the league, which kicks off on 7 September. In the first stage of each division will perform on 16 teams. Four participants will be able to get into the group stage. The final list of participants ELEAGUE Season 2 will be formed on 15 September.

Group stage will be held for four weeks. performances system will be similar to the previous league season. From 21 October will be performing on the four teams on Fridays and Saturdays. The tournament will take place in the double elimination format. From each group will be selected by two members, who will be in the playoffs.

LAN-final of the league will begin on November 29 and the Grand Final will take place December 3rd. Like the first season of League Grand Final matches will be broadcast on TBS channel.

ELEAGUE is the first television League for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which was organized by Turner and WME | IMG. Champions ELEAGUE Season 1 was the Polish team Virtus.pro. For the victory, they received monetary compensation in the size of $ 390,000.
