NiP - champions SL i-League StarSeries Season 2 Finals

SL i-League StarSeries S2 kicked off the group stage at the Olympic system (GSL), with four teams in each group. The first matches, the winners of the meeting and matches "to take off" took place in the format VO1 and deciders-matches have been played within the framework of the three cards - best-of-three. The top two teams from each group passed the stage of the playoffs, where in the Single Elimination BO3 format determine the champion.

The Swedes were in the same group for Team Dignitas, GodSent and HellRaisers, which easily coped with rivals in VO1 and matches out of first place. Apart from the future champions, the stage of the playoffs came Team Dignitas (Group A), G2 Esports and Flipsid3 Tactics (Group B), and Heroic Astralis (Group C) and last places were taken by Team EnVyUs and scored in the recent form of Cloud9.

On the way to the championship began Astralis, which had to play three "nerve" card, with the Americans in the semifinal match Cloud9 and Ninjas In Pyjamas grand finale met with G2 Esports, which before the final match did not lose a single card. In a very tense and equal fight was won by the Swedes by beating the opponent with a score of 2: 0 (Cache 16: 7, Overpass 22:18) and taking StarSeries S2 title, with prize money $ 130,000 for first place.
