On Valve sued for patent infringement

British Telecommunications has recently filed a lawsuit against the Valve. The plaintiff stated that Valve had violated four patents of the British company, which is engaged in the telecommunications business.

The company says that Valve is used mainly functional Steam (messaging, calls to users streaming, library of games, etc.) patented methods of exchange and storage of data (user - server - user). At the same time the document makes no mention of any technical features of the patent.

British Telecommunications state that created and patented the technology in 2003, but the first time turned to Valve in 2015. They wanted to resolve the conflict with the giant of the gaming industry in a peaceful way, but the developers have ignored all requests.
