Results ESL ESEA Dubai: Virtus.pro - the winners!

Yesterday came to its logical conclusion ESL ESEA Pro League Dubai Invitational, which began on September 10 and held in the Dubai International Marina Club in the exhibition Games 15. The organizers have invited Dubai 8 best teams from around the world, that they competed for a total prize fund of 250 thousands of dollars.

The first test for the teams began the group stage. Group A without a single defeat left Poland team Virtus.pro, defeating Ninjas in Pyjamas and Team EnVyUs with the same score - 16: 7. The last two had later play for the output from the second place - the winner of this match were the Swedes. Start of the first card for them was successful, but in the second half of the French attempted to turn the game, but, alas, could not realize until the end of this plan into practice. The second match for the Swedes, on the other hand, turned out to be much easier. The worst in this group was the only representative of North America - Cloud 9.

The best team of Group B of the Danes became Team SoloMid. In the first match with a score of 16:10, they finished with a team from the CIS - Natus Vincere. In the second I had to work hard, because their opponent was the second Swedish team in the competition - Fnatic. TSM miraculously able to even the score in regulation time and beat the Swedes in extra - by 19:17. Later Fnatic played with Titan Esports for out of the group - the winner was the Swedish team. Thus, in the quarterfinals of the playoffs we anticipated match against Fnatic Virtus.pro and Ninjas in Pyjamas against Team SoloMid.

In the first meeting the semi-finals - Ninjas in Pyjamas against Team SoloMid - Danes again defeated another Swedish team in this tournament, despite losing the first map: the first half they played with a score of 12: 3 is not in their favor, and the second just could not catch up his opponent on points. On the remaining two cards TSM again lost the first half, it is noteworthy that the bill was the same - 8: 7, but then the Danes still managed to recoup, so and reached the final of the tournament.

In the second meeting - Virtus.pro against Fnatic - Swedes, like their fellow countrymen from NiP, similarly took the first map, but in the next two as their opponent was stronger. Both the first half on the last two cards were completed with a score of 11: 4 in favor of Virtus.pro, then they just see out his five rounds. (Net)

Then came the finale, which took place between Virtus.pro and Team SoloMid. Both commands, as already mentioned above, come out of their group from the first place. The meeting was played on the format of best of five - and the format itself completely sold! The teams have shown that they knowingly chose certain map: Virtus.pro won on de_train and its de_cbble with the same score - 16: 7, and Team SoloMid showed excellent game in the de_overpass (16:13) and de_dust2 (16: 3) . The decisive fifth card became de_mirage, where in the first half Virtus.pro feel well and finished it with a score of 12: 3, but something went wrong in the second half and the end of the match equaled - 14:14. In the penultimate round of the final composition of the Polish knocked literally everything from a TSM, leaving them in the round of 30 with no money and thus achieving a victory on the map - 16:14, and the tournament as a whole!
