Gambit - champions of DreamHack Winter 2016

The traditional "winter" DreamHack, held November 24-26 in Jönköping, Sweden. The tournament kicked off the group stage in the GSL BO1 + BO3 format, with four teams in each group. Two of the strongest team in their group, have been in the semi-final play-offs, where the determined champion of the tournament.
 Gambit fall into one group to the Renegades, Cloud9 and OpTic, which in spite of the defeat of the leader of the group - Renegades, managed to rehabilitate himself in desider-match against Cloud9 and reached the playoffs with a second place. By the finalists group of future champions joined a couple of best of group "A" - GODSENT and Kinguin.

In the semifinal match, the CIS team fought Godsent, where in a fairly equal match Gambit managed to overcome the notorious Swedish. Grand finale with the Australians pushed the team of Renegades, who in turn defeated the Poles in the face Kinguin. As part of the title of the meeting, Gambit, led by an experienced captain - the Zeus, showed a real will to win and took revenge on the Renegades after the defeat in the group stage, beating an opponent with a whitewash on the cards - 2: 0. CIS team in such a short time after the change in the roster, takes the second prestigious title, after winning the Acer Predator Masters S3, with which we congratulate them!
 
MVP DreamHack Winter 2016 was Abai "HObbit" Khasenov, which showed the most stable game throughout the tournament, making a huge contribution to the success of his team.
