G2 Esports won DreamHack Open Tours after defeating HellRaisers 2-0 in the final (16-6 at Cache and 16-14 at Cobblestone).
The French team began its destruction from the Cache card, where the G2 won 9-1 for the side of the terrorists, as HellRaisers struggled to keep pace with the pace of the hosts.
Due to three murders from Martin "STYKO" Styk, HR were able to take the second and third round, cutting the gap to six rounds. But thanks to the G2 economy, they took another series of rounds, finishing half with a score of 12-3.
Patrik "Zero" Žúdel gave three fantastic minuses when knocking out the Aplanta, thereby winning a pistol and two subsequent rounds, but the G2 regained control of the game as soon as their economy was restored, winning four rounds in a row and taking the first card into their piggy bank with an account 16-6.
On the second card, HellReisers first came forward, winning the first 7 rounds, leaving almost no chance for opponents. G2 were forced to take the first tactical break, after which the team was able to take the first round, and Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro alone issued 4 murders.
Then the European mix took their eighth round, but G2 did not give HR the opportunity to continue the series. In the 13th round Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk led the team to a winning position, but Richard "shox" Papillon was able to take the fifth round for his team, which was the last in the first half.
HellReisers continued to take advantage of the pistol, but were stopped, because they could not cope with the opponent's force. This victory gave the French team a chance to score a series of rounds, at the end of which the team went ahead on rounds.
HellReisers tried to win in the final rounds, but Kenny "kennyS" Schrub quickly coped with these attempts and brought his team to the account 16-14. Below you can see the statistics of each player for two cards and how the prize fund was distributed.
