The tournament was attended by more than 500 teams from different countries of Europe, who fought for a place in closed qualifications to the minor. As always, some teams with known names dropped out at the beginning of the tournament, for example, iGame.com, which were defeated by Outlaws in round 128, and the Copenhagen Games Singularity champions, who rank 23rd in the world, but could not pass EnVyUs Academy in 32 rounds.

Dignitas, who made small changes in the composition, taking Jorgen "cromen" Robertsen and Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann and losing Mikail "Maikelele" Bill and Faruk "pita" Pita taking second place.

On the other half of the grid came passions, the Swedish team featuring former member Epsilon Hype Hampus "hampus" Poser. They bypassed MAXISAUCISSE, and later beat ALTERNATE aTTaX 2-0.

This means that the next 14 teams have already been confirmed for closed qualifications to the minor in Europe, which will be held from 18 to 19 May. The last two places in the Swiss closed qualifying tournament will be determined through the fourth grid.
