CEVO officially announced the start of its cooperation with other eSports organization Gfinity. Also, some of the details of the next season, CEVO Gfinity CS were announced: GO Pro-League, which will be held in London from 28 April to 1 May in the room Gfinity Arena. With new CEVO partners were able to increase their tournament prize pool and now it is $ 125,000 instead of $ 100,000 from last season.
Previous seasons of CEVO differed quite a lot of matches, and the team has repeatedly expressed his dissatisfaction on the matter. Before planning the schedule of the ninth season of CEVO we talked to the players and have responded to their request to reduce the number of matches and facilitate graphics commands and commentators.
In the new season in the two regions (Europe and North America) will be held four of the tournament for 16 teams in each. The winners of each tournament will receive an invite to the main stage of the CEVO Gfinity CS: GO Pro-League Season 9. Next 8 teams divided into two groups. The group stage will be held on the system GSL matches in bo3 format. The top two teams from each group go into the next stage, which will take place on the grid with Single Elimination bo5-matches.
