August 5th season starts 10 Intel Extreme Masters

Already on Wednesday, August 5, will start the second stop of the season 10 Intel Extreme Masters. This will be the first time, after 3 years, when all will again be able to see Counter-Strike tournaments in a series of IEM. Today, the organizers decided to announce an interesting format of your Event.

The tournament will be held from 5 to 8 August in the exhibition Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. This will be the second stop of the season 10 IEM, and the first where all can see CS: GO. Recall that the last time Counter-Strike was on the IEM in 2012.

The organizers decided to move away from standard systems implementation, the similarity GSL, and finally present something original. As you know, the whole of the tournament will be 6 teams. Each of them will be four life. With the defeat, the team loses one life. This winning team selects the next couple to be played.

The question as to which teams will play first, the organizers also decided. Everyone can vote for the desired pair on this page. In this scenario all planned from 20 to 23 games. The winner will be the team, which will be at least one life. As stated above, the tournament starts on August 5. The first game is scheduled for 11:45 Moscow time. The prize pool of $ 85,000.
