Immortals invited to IEM Oakland

ESL announced the following IEM team Oakland 2017, which will join the previously known FaZe, Astralis, SK, G2, Cloud9, Liquid and Gambit. The owner of the invitation for the upcoming championship was the team Immortals, which was the finalist of the last Major-championship. 12 teams will participate in the IEM Oakland 2017, 9 received direct invitations, and the other 3 teams will be known after open qualifications.

Selection round begins on September, 19th in Europe, North America, and also in Southeast Asia, from each region on LAN-championship will go on one collective. Selection in the European and American regions will be held in two stages, while in the Asian qualifying round the slot in Oakland will be played already at an open stage.

Note that IEM Oakland 2017 will be held on November 18-19 in the arena of Oracle Arena, hosting up to 20,000 spectators. The prize fund remained the same, which is 300 000 dollars.
