G2 invited to ESL One Cologne

G2 became the seventh team that was invited to the upcoming ESL One Cologne. Prior to G2, NiP, SK, fnatic, Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro, and FaZe were invited.

Both teams G2 and EnVyUs withdrew from the group stage to ESL One Cologne Major last year. Now, having combined the team into one, it will represent the French region in Germany.

The tournament will be held in early July at the LANXESS Arena in Cologne, information on the format of the tournament, the size of the prize pool and the group stage has not yet been announced.
