North American tournament organizers ELEAGUE announced a return to the CS: GO scene in September.
The first season of CSGO: ELEAGUE was announced in December 2015, and Virtus.pro won the title, taking home $ 400,000. The second season started in the second half of last year and ended in a big surprise when OpTic took home the title, beating Astralis in the final.
After the end of the first major of the year ELEAGUE Atlanta 2017 the organizers began to support Street Fighter 5 and put CS: GO in the background, but it lasted until yesterday evening when a tweet was announced the return to CS: GO.
CS: GO on ELEAGUE will begin on September 1 on TBS, but other details about the tournament are still unknown.
